[00:00:00] Caroline: Welcome to Growing Steady, the show where we help online creators like you build a calm business, one that's predictable, profitable, and peaceful. We're your hosts, Jason and Caroline Zook, and we run Wandering Aimfully, an unboring business coaching program, and Teachery, an online course platform for designers. Join us each week as we help you reach your business goals without sacrificing your well being in the process. Slow and steady is the way we do things around here, baby.

[00:00:29] Jason: All right, cinnamon rollers, that's you. Let's get into the show. Oh, it is a bonus episode and you're gonna get three of these.

[00:00:43] Caroline: It's a Tuesday episode, Jason.

[00:00:44] Jason: It's a Tuesday episode and you're gonna get three of these episodes. You're gonna get one.

[00:00:46] Caroline: It's a short boy, though.

[00:00:47] Jason: Yeah, it's gonna be shorter. You're gonna get one today, obviously. You're gonna get one next Tuesday, similar to this one.

[00:00:54] Caroline: And

[00:00:54] Jason: then you're going to get one the following Monday evening, our time. We're going to record in the afternoon.

[00:01:00] Caroline: Cool.

[00:01:00] Jason: Probably like. Well, we'll see how you're feeling.

[00:01:03] Caroline: Try to push it as late as possible.

[00:01:04] Jason: As late as. As late as Carol's willing. Because last day is always like the biggest day of launches. This is the last day of WAIM Unlimited ever. So we're kind of anticipating people are going to wait around and people always wait around. So we'll see, but...

[00:01:16] Caroline: This is for all you nosy nellies out there.

[00:01:18] Jason: What's the point of this episode and these next three episodes like this?

[00:01:20] Caroline: We are going to take people along in real time as we update you on how the launch is going. The final launch of WAM Unlimited ever, our coaching program. You've heard us talk about it so many times and just share with you the real time feelings, the real time sales, how they're coming in each day, the things that we're doing or not doing. Yeah. And just like share. Share the actual behind the scenes of how it feels, which I don't think we've ever done this before. We always do a launch recap.

[00:01:47] Jason: Ah, you say that.

[00:01:48] Caroline: Okay.

[00:01:49] Jason: We did...

[00:01:49] Caroline: Have some info.

[00:01:50] Jason: BuyOurFuture.

[00:01:52] Caroline: Okay.

[00:01:52] Jason: We did a launch YouTube series where we actually recorded YouTube videos throughout the launch. Yeah. And we did like, because we did a two week launch and I think we did like a video every, like, three days.

[00:02:03] Caroline: And that was 2016.

[00:02:05] Jason: That was 2016 or 17, maybe. Yeah, 2017, I think.

[00:02:08] Caroline: It's been a while.

[00:02:08] Jason: Yeah. That's why we don't remember because it was you know, ten years ago. Exactly.

[00:02:12] Caroline: What's time?

[00:02:13] Jason: Also, just to catch you up, if for some reason someone shared this episode with you or you, like, you haven't listened to our podcast in a while, this is the one you clicked on, we're a husband and wife team, Jason and Caroline Zook. We run a business called WAIM Unlimited, which is an unboring coaching program. WAIM stands for Wandering Aimfully and this is the 13th enrollment of this coaching program. We do biannual launches, and this is the absolute final time we will ever sell this. And this is sold in a unique way, as it has been for years, which is a lifetime pricing model. So once you finish paying it, you never pay anything else, and you continue to get any new things we've made in the future. Like last fall, we created this Calm Launch Formula course to help you plan your entire digital product launch in under two hours. Using AI prompts, it writes your sales emails, your sales page, all these things.

[00:02:54] Caroline: You're speaking so fast, babe. I love you so much.

[00:02:57] Jason: I know, but I'm catching everybody up. And this is. If they're on 1, if they're on 1.2 or 1.5, this is going to be so fast and... I got to go to 1x this.

[00:03:04] Caroline: And they don't know the words you're saying.

[00:03:06] Jason: They're fine. They're okay. The reason I brought up Calm Launch Formula is because when we released that last fall, everyone who had already paid off WAIM, which is like over a thousand people by that point.

[00:03:14] Caroline: I can't believe it.

[00:03:15] Jason: We had a bunch of people, probably. They're like, where do...? So I have to pay for this? Like, I'm holding the mic in a dramatic fashion. I don't know what you don't understand. It's anything we make in the future, you also get.

[00:03:26] Caroline: It's just like...

[00:03:26] Jason: I know it's too good to be true. Okay.

[00:03:28] Caroline: Okay.

[00:03:28] Jason: So anyway, that's the recap. This is the final launch of WAIM Unlimited. This is the last time you're going to be able to get our past, present, and future all wrapped up into one amazing bundle, sold at a hundred dollars per month or $400 a month payment plans up to $2,000, then you stop paying. Great.

[00:03:42] Caroline: Fantastic.

[00:03:43] Jason: I caught everybody up.

[00:03:44] Caroline: Yeah, no, I'm trying to match your energy and I... I was in, like a...

[00:03:47] Jason: No, no, no, no, no. This is a... We're launch tracking, baby. Look at how I wrote our notes. Like, I'm sassy right now.

[00:03:54] Caroline: You're in a sassy mood. And I mean, I like it for sure, I'm into it.

[00:03:57] Jason: Okay.

[00:03:59] Caroline: Let's give them the update. Let's give them the meat. Just give them what they came here for.

[00:04:02] Jason: Let's do it. So as of recording this episode, because I think the little time stamps are gonna be helpful. We are June 10th. Our launch officially started yesterday. June 9th. But we did have a waitlist period that kicked off on June 5th.

[00:04:15] Caroline: And we gave those VIPs.

[00:04:18] Jason: Yes.

[00:04:19] Caroline: Basically a four day head start. So we, we sent them the new sales page on Thursday before the Monday is when we sent it to our main list.

[00:04:27] Jason: Yes. We built that wait list over the course of a month through an Instagram reel series. That was pretty much the only place we promoted it. And then we started to add it into our weekly email newsletter that people could click a link.

[00:04:40] Caroline: It was also the announcement bar on the website. That's actually the.

[00:04:42] Jason: Yeah, but the link didn't work. We found out later on.

[00:04:45] Caroline: I don't think it. Okay, well, we'll have to go back and read.

[00:04:48] Jason: At a certain point that stopped working. Which again, just goes to show you, hey, we're humans and perfect. We mess things up just like you all do. And it just happens. In that time, the total number of subscribers on the wait list was 158. We had a walk about two months ago when we came up with the idea to do a wait list for this launch. Our goal when we said on that was like, if we get a hundred people on the wait list.

[00:05:09] Caroline: That's a win.

[00:05:10] Jason: We believe that 10%, 15%, 20% might buy. If they're really, really interested, that'll be a win. Fast forward to we had 158. Great job. About 40 of those were existing WAIMers. So we removed them from the early access emails because they already own.

[00:05:24] Caroline: They're nosy.

[00:05:25] Jason: They are nosy. Which we love about you. WAIMers, we love. We're also nosy. So 110 people got the waitlist emails. We sent two emails to the waitlist. That's it. Just the launch.

[00:05:34] Caroline: The sales email.

[00:05:35] Jason: The launch. Yeah. They got a weekly update, but the launch saying you could buy. And we ended up with 12 total sales from the waitlist. So pretty much nailing our goals. A 10% conversion.

[00:05:46] Caroline: Yes.

[00:05:47] Jason: 100 subscribers. We ended up with 12 sales.

[00:05:49] Caroline: And let me tell you, if you're on the fence about doing a waitlist, let me tell you something that really boosts your confidence going into a launch is it's not even the first day of the launch and you already have 12 sales. And that does a lot I feel like for your energy and your momentum and your excitement.

[00:06:05] Jason: I am a complete idiot. You'll have to excuse me. I am so just dumb. I'm just a dummy. I didn't even mention what our goals were.

[00:06:13] Caroline: Okay.

[00:06:14] Jason: For the launch.

[00:06:14] Caroline: Yeah. That's pretty egregious of a mishap.

[00:06:18] Jason: Let's remind everybody of our low goal, our high goal, and our stretch goal. Our low goal. 30 sales.

[00:06:24] Caroline: Yes.

[00:06:25] Jason: This is the number that we set because it sets... It manages our expectations so that we are not absolutely losing our minds by the end of the launch that we set too high of a goal as a low goal. We don't achieve that, and then we feel like complete failures.

[00:06:36] Caroline: Yeah. And the 30 was really based on how the last launch did. And so we were trying to be very honest about setting our expectations low.

[00:06:45] Jason: Yes.

[00:06:45] Caroline: And we did know that with the urgency of it being the last, that there was a chance that, but you never know.

[00:06:51] Jason: This is what low goals should do, though. It should be something where you feel so confident, like,,,.

[00:06:55] Caroline: Yeah.

[00:06:55] Jason: You're gonna hit your low goal.

[00:06:57] Caroline: Totally.

[00:06:57] Jason: So we hit our low goal. That's. Or we haven't hit it yet, but, like, you'll hear we're very close. So our low goal was 30. Our high goal, which is like, I feel like we can hit this, but we're not. We're not just pie in the sky numbering.

[00:07:08] Caroline: Yeah.

[00:07:08] Jason: Was 70. So...

[00:07:10] Caroline: We were like, that would be. That would really show us that the effort put in was worth it because, again, to remind everyone, our last launch did...?

[00:07:16] Jason: 32 sales?

[00:07:17] Caroline: ...5?

[00:07:18] Jason: Something like that.

[00:07:18] Caroline: Something like that. So 70 felt like if we doubled our sales from last launch, like, that would be amazing effort.

[00:07:25] Jason: Yes. So 30 for low goal, 70 for high goal. And then we're also doing a stretch goal, which is basically just setting us up to have this, like, goal at the end of the rainbow that would be fun. But if we don't hit it, that's okay because it's just a stretch goal.

[00:07:40] Caroline: And that kind of set this also as the further in deep we got on putting forth more effort than we normally would during a launch. We were like, we need a little bit of a stretch goal to, like, motivate us to why we put all this effort in. So that's why we did it.

[00:07:53] Jason: That's 120 sales. So 30 low, 70 high. 120 is a stretch goal.

[00:07:57] Caroline: Yes.

[00:07:58] Jason: Now coming back to. We have 12 sales from the wait list.

[00:08:01] Caroline: Yep.

[00:08:01] Jason: Then we have launch day. So launch day was yesterday as of recording this. And on launch day, we had 12 sales during launch day.

[00:08:12] Caroline: Yes.

[00:08:12] Jason: Which is fantastic. So we are currently or, well, we actually have one more sale this morning.

[00:08:17] Caroline: That's right.

[00:08:17] Jason: As we're recording. So we have one sale this morning. We're recording this early in our time in Europe. So people who are predominantly buying in the US haven't even.

[00:08:25] Caroline: And we haven't sent out the day two email. So basically what our current sales are are based on the wait list and then based on one email that we've sent.

[00:08:33] Jason: One email. Yeah.

[00:08:33] Caroline: And that's 25 sales.

[00:08:35] Jason: 25 sales. So we are 25 sales. And if I look at our little tracker, just to get you the exact percentage.

[00:08:40] Caroline: What tracker?

[00:08:42] Jason: I decided to code up a just a fun little launch tracker. Like most of the time we do this through Notion. You create like a little database. It's just not fun to look at. I mean, I love that you make this because you're so good at Notion.

[00:08:56] Caroline: This was pre AI revolution.

[00:08:58] Jason: I know, but I just, I vibe coded this little sucker. This little final launch tracker.

[00:09:02] Caroline: Jason. Jason, question. Is that public? Can anyone go to this launch tracker?

[00:09:07] Jason: Yes, you little nosy jerks, you can. Yes, we're making this public for everyone to watch during this last launch because it is just fun to watch people's launches. So you can go to sales.waim.co. I'll put the link in the show notes so you can go there. Uh, but to finish my sentence that started this all, we are 83% of the way to our low goal of 30 sales after essentially the first 24 hours of opening the doors.

[00:09:32] Caroline: Boy, does that feel good.

[00:09:32] Jason: It feels really good. Especially because last launch, I don't have the numbers in front of me, but I can tell you that.

[00:09:37] Caroline: I saw. It was six sales on the first day.

[00:09:40] Jason: It was six sales on the first day.

[00:09:41] Caroline: Yeah.

[00:09:41] Jason: So yeah, we're at 25 sales on basically the first day of this launch. Boy, that feels so much better. So, um, and also, that's just like a little quick little note to all of you. You may have one floppy launch, as we call them, and like, things don't go super well, but that doesn't mean like, don't give up. And again, like, our 12th launch of this program was not great, but our 13th launch of this program is already trending toward being much better.

[00:10:05] Caroline: And of course, yes, we understand there are factors of like, it being the last one.

[00:10:08] Jason: Yes.

[00:10:09] Caroline: It's going to inflate the numbers. We know that. But I still firmly believe that had we not had that aspect and had we just tweaked what we could tweak and not have like the additional. I do think that the extra effort shows you that like the more effort you put into a launch in pre marketing, in your positioning and your messaging, in talking to your customers, in creating novelty and, and a reason for people to buy. These things do move the needle and we'll tell you what we think already has moved the needle.

[00:10:39] Jason: Yeah.

[00:10:39] Caroline: Just based on gut. But again, the full launch recap down the road. We'll give you like what.

[00:10:45] Jason: Yeah. Anyway.

[00:10:46] Caroline: What's going on with instinct right now?

[00:10:48] Jason: So just to sum up the final bits of the real time launch update, which again next Tuesday, we'll give you the next update here on the podcast, but you can follow along daily at sales.waim.co, we are at 25 sales and you can just watch that little tracker every day. You can save it as a bookmark. I'm already getting DMs from our WAIMers. They're like, I am refreshing this too much. I'm feeling unhealthy. And I want you all to know if you're listening this, I don't. This doesn't update every time a sales come in. Sales comes in.

[00:11:17] Caroline: You have to manually.

[00:11:18] Jason: I literally coded this or vibe coded this. I didn't code it. I used Lovable in one hour. Like, essentially I built this in one hour and then a couple like 30 minutes of tweaks from Caroline to make it look a little bit better. So I have like a Google sheet that I update manually on my phone. And so if you're, if you're refreshing on the hour, expecting like every sale that comes in, there might be a gap of time. I gotta go to the grocery store. We have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. It's going to take three hours. I'm not going to be able to update it as much as you all want real time, but it will get updated multiple times.

[00:11:46] Caroline: Did you have two cups of coffee or is this just energy?

[00:11:48] Jason: This is called living with me and life.

[00:11:52] Caroline: You are just on a high right now and it's very cute.

[00:11:55] Jason: Also, I just, I'm. I'm really excited about all the little things we're working on, like, which is what we're trending toward in 2026. This is like our full plan is to build these little tools and like, I just, I can't describe how much. How good it feels to get back into, like, building new things.

[00:12:09] Caroline: Totally. And you and I like, our relationship and our business relationship of working together has always thrived so much on ideas. And like, we love chatting business, and we love chatting ideas, and it's very fun. It's not like we never, ever stopped doing that, but it is very fun to be in this new era of when you and I are, like, we're sitting down at breakfast in the morning and we're talking about ideas, and what did you learn today and what did you see? And I think that that is something that adds, like, depth to our relationship.

[00:12:39] Jason: Yeah, for sure. I think it's something we really love, which is, again, why we're trying to switch the wandering in fleet business toward that model, because we know that that brings us so much joy.

[00:12:46] Caroline: And it's why we also framed this particular launch also around. If you're someone who is feeling very overwhelmed by the change that's happening and you want to be around people who maybe have a little bit more of an optimistic view, maybe are just, like, thriving on the energy of it, are not. Not ignoring the pitfalls of, you know, some of the... the discomfort that's going to come with, like, any type of revolution in our industry. It's uncomfortable, it's uncertain. But if you want people who are excited about that change and are trying to adapt to it in a way that doesn't just, like, overwhelm us, then I think that that is another reason why you might consider joining WAIM Unlimited.

[00:13:27] Jason: Exactly. Okay.

[00:13:28] Caroline: You, too, want to feel like you've had two cups of coffee just...

[00:13:30] Jason: All the time. What's up? Okay. Producer Jason is telling me in my ear that this episode has to stay under 20 minutes because we have to move on to a lot of things we're working on. So let's quickly do a feelings recap.

[00:13:41] Caroline: Yes.

[00:13:41] Jason: Of how we're feeling. I will start as the person who doesn't have many feelings, because mine will go quickly. Definitely nervous, because anytime you're doing the last of anything, it feels pressure full, and it feels like, well, it has to do well.

[00:13:54] Caroline: And we're sharing more real time than we've ever shared before. So you're like, oh, if we got a no sales day.

[00:13:59] Jason: Hope it goes well.

[00:13:59] Caroline: Gotta tell people.

[00:14:00] Jason: But I just. We. I wanted. We wanted to do that, and we just. We knew that we would want to watch that from somebody else. So it's like, well, let's do the thing we know we want to do. Obviously, getting 25 sales by the end of the first day has, you know, lit a fire under us that, like, makes us excited to do all the other bonus things that we're going to do throughout the launch, which we'll tell you about some of those.

[00:14:20] Caroline: And it takes some of that pressure off because you do go, okay. Like, without a doubt. I have no doubt in my mind, we will hit our low goal.

[00:14:26] Jason: Yeah.

[00:14:27] Caroline: That feels good.

[00:14:27] Jason: Yeah, exactly. And so, yeah, I think there's a. There's a mix of nerves and then there's a mix of, like, a big to do list of things we want to get done during the launch, which is way more than we normally would.

[00:14:36] Caroline: Totally.

[00:14:37] Jason: Because this is the last hurrah of WAIM Unlimited. And so we want to kind of pack as much into it as we can without obviously burning ourselves out. So that's. That's my side of things.

[00:14:47] Caroline: My side of things is the biggest thing I feel is just relief.

[00:14:50] Jason: Yeah.

[00:14:51] Caroline: Because I'm someone who gets, you know, the deadline of it all. There were all of these, like, juggling things. Like, I. I really felt good about what we were able. How, like, stable we were able to remain while putting so much work on our plates amidst having three different people come visit us for three different weeks, amidst being pregnant, amidst all these things. Like, I feel like we handled it really well, but there were so many little. We call them hanging chads. There were so many hanging chads in my brain that for the past six weeks that I was. I'm not. My brain is not built to juggle that many multitasking things at one time. And so the amount of focus that I have had to put towards just staying on top of everything felt very fatiguing at times. Not to the point of burnout, but just to the point of, like, oh, I'm operating at max capacity for, like, longer than I would like. And so the biggest thing that I feel is, like, once that first launch day hits, it doesn't mean that everything got done perfectly, but it means that, like, the timer's up, like, and so you have to kind of go, let the. Let the chips fall where they may. And so that has felt very relieving to me. And now I just feel like all the excitement, all the fun, obviously the sales are motivating, and that's how I feel.

[00:16:04] Jason: Yeah. Okay, great. Let's move into what do we feel like move the needle so far?

[00:16:10] Caroline: Okay.

[00:16:10] Jason: Okay.

[00:16:10] Caroline: What do you think?

[00:16:11] Jason: So I have some notes, so I know. So, first thing is 44% of our 25 sales, that's 11 have come from our affiliates.

[00:16:20] Caroline: Which is still lower than it used to be.

[00:16:21] Jason: Which is lower than it used to be. We used to average between 60% and 70%. I. I think that this is the thing we always remind affiliates about. Most likely you, they, your audience as an affiliate has not heard of us or Wandering Aimfully enough to make a buying decision right away. So affiliates, I try to hammer this home because I'm the one who sends the messages. You have to send a couple messages throughout the launch and, and you really have to send the like last call because people are busy, they don't see things. But I'm really happy to see that we do already have sales from affiliates because to me that says that they followed our advice of doing some warmup themselves to their list and their audience.

[00:16:56] Caroline: Also I want to say that the percentage obviously gets driven down the more pre marketing that we do to our list.

[00:17:02] Jason: Exactly.

[00:17:03] Caroline: Because the more pre market... pre marketing we do to our list, the more sales we convert from our list. So if you go back and look at launches where we've just really relied heavily on affiliates and that's our only sort of marketing avenue, obviously it goes up to 70%. If you look at launches where we did a pre launch email series, we did maybe some special bonuses and things like that, that number goes down. So there's, I think that's part of it as well.

[00:17:25] Jason: Totally. The other thing that has moved the needle is we added a live chat onto the sales page and we have not had a live chat on the sales page for, I mean a long time, many years. And we just decided, hey, this is the last one that people have questions. Like we've had one on a sales page before and we know that that helps move the needle. Nine people have sent in messages through the chat. I'll just jump ahead slightly. We, we've had over a thousand, we had over a thousand people come to the website yesterday. 1,000 people on the launch day. That's the most we've had on a launch day in quite a long time. But only nine people use the chat, which I thought was actually less than. But two of those people bought and they just had very simple questions and I answered their question because I, the app they're using is called Crisp and it's free and they have an I, an iPhone app. And so I installed that. So I got the message on my phone. I responded within like two minutes because they're sitting there, they're interested and they bought right afterwards.

[00:18:19] Caroline: Perfect.

[00:18:19] Jason: And so I'm like, this is the perfect use case of like why you put a chat on there. And just for anybody who's nervous of like people might abuse it or whatever, nine people out of a thousand contacted us. I'm fine with that. That's plenty of people. I can manage those conversations.

[00:18:31] Caroline: Yeah. I think you can still have a calm launch while answering two messages, for sure.

[00:18:35] Jason: Um, obviously our pre launch email series, I think you did a great job because you were spearheading that and our wait list emails. Um, I think those two things you really took the lead on. And I think obviously it shows that people were interested and ready to buy early on. And I just think this is a testament to, we talk about this all the time. I was listening to a podcast of a... another creator in our space who launched a course and it completely flopped. And one of the things they admitted to is they were like, oh, in previous launches of other courses, I always do like marketing lead up stuff, like a month ahead of time, two weeks at a time. This time I didn't do that. I just opened the doors and.

[00:19:06] Caroline: And that's just the pudding right there.

[00:19:08] Jason: Everyone's too busy for that. Like, people have to get warmed up and they have to know that what's coming.

[00:19:12] Caroline: And think about it. They have to pre anticipate it. All those things.

[00:19:16] Jason: Yeah. And then I think the last thing, you know, we got some feedback from our Wandering Aimfully members that our previous sales page to the one that you see now was a little bit chaotic.

[00:19:26] Caroline: Chaotic and overwhelming.

[00:19:27] Jason: And it didn't feel the calm that we were kind of promising with WAIM.

[00:19:30] Caroline: We were leaning into fun, we were leaning into whimsy. But it's a fine line. And you go too hard in that realm and kind of like the... the fun and unexpected and you lose the calm. Right. Which has always been a little bit hard for us because the message we're trying to do is like, calm business. But we're trying to do it in a fun and differentiated and kind of weird way.

[00:19:51] Jason: The crazy part to me about that feedback, it's my favorite sales page you've ever designed.

[00:19:56] Caroline: Yeah.

[00:19:56] Jason: I think it's one of. And this. I'm trying to be objective. I think it's one of the most beautiful sales pages I've ever seen.

[00:20:01] Caroline: But I totally see the feedback.

[00:20:03] Jason: But I also see it as well.

[00:20:04] Caroline: Exactly.

[00:20:05] Jason: I just love it, personally. Like, I'm like, I land on it. I'm like, oh, this is fun to me in my brain.

[00:20:09] Caroline: It's like a little treasure hunt.

[00:20:10] Jason: That's where you really have to. You do have to listen to your audience, say, we got to mix it up. So.

[00:20:14] Caroline: Have to listen.

[00:20:15] Jason: All right. Those are. Those are the big things that moved the needle.

[00:20:17] Caroline: Just do the last thing I do want to say about the new sales page is not just, like, the design itself of it being a little bit more story driven and, like, easier to digest and scroll through with less elements. But just the very fact that we redesigned the page and the fact that we got the most visits to the sales page on day one than we have in a number of years is a testament to, like, if you do want to have a bigger launch, you know, it's a trade off. Like, you can still. You can keep the same sales page. You don't have to do it every single launch. But if there is a launch where you really want to put forth that extra effort, I do think the novelty and the curiosity of people going like, oh, this isn't the same thing I've seen over and over is going to get you a little bit of a bump.

[00:21:00] Jason: Totally agree. All right, let's wrap this up with one minute to give people the updates on what we might implement through the rest of this launch and what we are working on that we know we're implementing.

[00:21:09] Caroline: Okay. So we're going to keep going with the daily reels.

[00:21:13] Jason: On Instagram.

[00:21:13] Caroline: On Instagram. Again, we're not going to know how all that pays off until the very end.

[00:21:17] Jason: We do have a slightly different strategy, though. What we're doing every others.

[00:21:20] Caroline: Yes, we're doing every others, meaning I am doing, like, a new series. I have seven videos planned, but I'm doing them every other day. And then to fill in the gaps, Jason's doing his own.

[00:21:31] Jason: Wildcard.

[00:21:32] Caroline: Every other day. And I. He hasn't told me what it is yet.

[00:21:34] Jason: And I also don't know. I'm recording my first one today, and I'm not going to overthink it. I'm just going to be like, what do I want to make? And then that's what I'm going to make.

[00:21:41] Caroline: And I can't wait to see it because it's great.

[00:21:43] Jason: We have two YouTube videos. One has already gone up. It's if you're stuck at $1,000 in your business, what is. What are the things that will help you get past that? That one's up. And then I have another one that's what happens if you get stuck at $10,000 in your business. I just thought this was kind of an interesting little series. But also on both the Instagram front And on the YouTube front, we are setting aside a little bit of a budget to promote the content. So we are boosting the reels every day for $20 per reel. So we set aside a budget of basically like $300 for Instagram, which is not a lot in the grand scheme of things. We talked about maybe doing some retargeting ads and like setting up way too complicated. And we just were like, we don't have time for it. That would make our launch not calm to deal with this. And we just don't have time.

[00:22:21] Caroline: Also, it is easy boost.

[00:22:22] Jason: Exactly. Just hit the boost button. Don't know if it's going to work or not. And we'll see at the end of the launch, like, we'll recap how many people said they came through Instagram and we'll know. And then YouTube, you can promote videos. Basically the same thing. And so the sucky part about it is that I've been in like pending state for two days on my first video. So it just takes so much longer to like get into their...

[00:22:41] Caroline: Pending.

[00:22:41] Jason: Their thing. So we're doing those two things. I might slot in another YouTube video or two depending on if anything strikes my fancy. But the thing that I am taking on personally as well is I'm going to do daily tweet and Threads updates. And I don't really want to be posting on Twitter at all.

[00:22:58] Caroline: Because obviously we hate Twitter.

[00:23:00] Jason: But I decided that like, I remembered when I did like my BuyMyFuture project that like, pretty much all of the sales came through Twitter.

[00:23:07] Caroline: And that is where your kind of like historical audience is. And so you never know who has stuck around and been like, what's that Jason up to?

[00:23:14] Jason: And kind of my deciding factor was like, if we go out one or two sales from me just posting some tweets once a day for two weeks, that feels worth it to me. And then like, I'll go back to like, not posting on Twitter.

[00:23:23] Caroline: Doesn't mean you should either. But it's just like, I guess the thing that we want you to take away from that is depending on how much effort you want to put forth every launch. And this is what we teach inside Calm Launch Formula. You, you get to make those trade offs. You get to decide as a business owner what is worth it and what is not.

[00:23:36] Jason: Yeah.

[00:23:37] Caroline: And so you ultimately decided it was worth it.

[00:23:38] Jason: Yeah, exactly. And so again, I'll probably care more about the Threads than I will about like the Twitter of it because I actually like being on Threads more than I like being on Twitter.

[00:23:47] Caroline: I wonder why.

[00:23:48] Jason: Oh yeah, I wonder why. All right. And then we are doing these bonus update apps on the podcast. So we're doing three additional episodes to kind of be in the earballs of people who might be joining. Also, a bunch of you recently have been sending nice messages. Do you really enjoy our podcast? Like, even some of you been like, I've been listening since like 2019 and I've never sent you a message and I just love your podcast and I just want to say that stuff really, like it's helpful.

[00:24:12] Caroline: It makes a big difference.

[00:24:13] Jason: Yeah, um, we are going to cancel the podcast after this. I'm just kidding. Uh, but yeah, so that's why we're going to do some extra episodes because we know you all are enjoying this content and again, we like this type of content. All right, I think that's the wrap up for our first real time launch update. Uh, if you're a WAIM... [00:25:13] Caroline: Okay.

[00:25:13] Jason: Goodbye.

[00:25:14] Caroline: Bye.
